Dr. Tom Schuld earned his degree from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002, practicing in Minneapolis for 16 years before moving to Maine in 2018. He enjoys general medicine, dentistry, and surgery, but his greatest joy comes from building lasting relationships with pets and their people.

In 2013, while volunteering with WorldVets in Ecuador, he met and adopted Chula, a little street dog who now lives with him in Maine. Dr. Schuld also shares his home with his wife, Sandra, hound Cooper, and cats Annabelle, Cecil, and Felicity. He enjoys exploring Maine, home renovation, cooking, baking, biking, and fishing.

Jesse Robinson, VMD
Jesse Robinson, VMD – Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Jesse Robinson earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Virginia in 2003, but he soon realized that the tech industry was not where his heart lay. He moved to Portland, ME, after graduation and discovered a passion for working with animals. In 2014, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Robinson began his veterinary career doing a mix of large and small animal medicine in Pennsylvania. In 2021, he had the opportunity to move back to southern Maine to work at the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland. After 2 years working in shelter medicine, Dr. Robinson found that he missed the personal connection of working directly with clients and their animals and decided to go back into general practice. Dr. Robinson lives in Scarborough with his wife and fellow veterinarian Megan, their daughters Dagny and Marin, 3 dogs (Cosby, Bagel, and Egg), and 3 cats (Spike, Tabouleh, and Fig Newton). They love to spend time at the many breweries, restaurants, beaches, and trails that the area has to offer. Dr. Robinson also enjoys playing soccer and disc golf, and following soccer and New England sports
